While the term “startup” is often associated with technology-oriented companies, this startup was unfortunately associated with a housing market that was about to burst. Two founders of Modative will share their insight on the philosophy of an architecture-oriented startup, how Modative survived the worst of the recession, and how the quest for entrepreneurship resulted, instead, in a strategic plan for pushing forward during economic uncertainty.
