# 3. Schedule

| Let's face it, the construction industry has a bad reputation when it comes to being on time. Home construction frequently stalls as contractors have material ordering delays and time is lost while architects provide clarification on construction details.![Speed Up Construction](https://www.modative.com/hs-fs/file-14190050-jpg/images/slow-construction.jpg) By bringing the contractor on board early in our integrated approach, we form a strong team that can solve numerous scheduling issues such as: |
| --- |

| - **working with the contractor during the design phases to solve most issues before they cause delays during construction** - **enabling contractors to order long lead items before construction begins** - ** eliminating lengthy and cumbersome bidding processes ** Our integrated project delivery saves so much time, it's almost like cheating.
