# what is modative?

### **1. modative: meaning**

The name "modative" is a combination of two words. The first word is “moda”, meaning “a way of doing things” (Italian translation). The second is “innovative”.

**modative = an innovative way of doing things.**

### **2. modative: doing great things**

Great Design is not only beautiful; it is thoughtful. Through critical thinking we see issues that require change and adaptation. Our vision at modative is to be successful by doing things better and setting precedence.

To achieve our goals we go beyond one discipline. Our role is to **Design, Develop, Build and Influence**. Instead of complaining about how things are done, we intervene through positive examples, to show where things are going.
