Our ADU model works for most properties that meet the following six criteria:
1. Located in Los Angeles and:
2. Detached (not touching the main house) garage in your backyard
3. Interior garage dimensions of at least 17'-6" wide and 17'-6" deep.
4. Garage must not be under power lines (this is a code requirement). In most cases, your garage needs to be 3-5 feet from your rear property line.
5. Your garage is in decent shape. Our ADU conversion cost excludes fixes to damaged garages.
6. Existing driveway that can fit two cars parked in tandem.
