Modative Architecture - Paid Student Internship

Fall 2016 or Winter/Spring 2017

Modative has an open position for a paid student intern this fall or winter/spring. This position is temporary (lasting 3-6 months) and intended for current architecture school students (undergraduate or graduate) that have available time (up to 40 hours per week) to commit to learning on the job. Exceptions may be made for recent graduates looking for a temporary position.

What you'll be working on

You'll be working on design and construction documents on modern residential projects (we specialize in Small Lot Subdivision) in the Los Angeles area. You will gain extensive hands-on experience in what it takes to put a modern building together. As a bonus, we are a design/build firm, which means you may also have the opportunity to see the construction side of the industry. 

Mandatory Qualifications

1. Currently in architecture school or recent graduate looking for a temporary position.

2. Only persons currently residing in and able to legally work in the US will be considered. No international applicants for this position please. This is a a very focused position. Applications not meeting the outlined criteria will be disregarded. Since this position needs to be filled quickly, preference will be given to candidates currently residing in the Los Angeles area.

3. BIM (ArchiCAD/Revit) experience preferred. Our office is currently using ArchiCAD 18 & 19.
