Options for when you have a detached garage in your backyard and you want an ADU

#### Does Modative work on attached ADU’s?

An attached ADU and/or interior conversion is created by remodeling or expanding an existing residence. This is a great option when:

- Someone has a larger home where a sufficiently sized spare bedroom can be converted into an independent living unit
- A property is too tight for a detached model
- An addition can provide the needed space for an ADU.

Modative is not currently taking on attached ADUs unless it includes a very extensive remodel to the existing home.  We do, however, work on [attached garage conversions](https://www.modative.com/garage-conversions-los-angeles-accessory-dwelling-units-backyard-homes-granny-flats) and attaching one of our [ground-up ADU models](https://www.modative.com/adu-models-los-angeles-accessory-dwelling-units-semi-custom-granny-flats) to your existing home if backyard space is tight.
